Ok this one I really did love!  But for this one I think it would have been better to be a novella vs. a full book.  It is only 246 pages and not a lot happens.  That being said it was still a very good book!  I loved all the characters and it had a great pace.  I just think that it either needed to be longer or they should have made it a novella.  The next book in the series is called The Impossibility of Tomorrow and is over 300 pages.  That review will post tomorrow.

I graduated from college in Texas with a fine arts degree, and then freelanced as an art director at a graphic design firm for eight years. I dreamed of working in children’s books, so I moved to New York City and became associate art director in Scholastic trade books, where I designed books for children and worked with editors and illustrators. It was a great job.

I illustrated my first published children’s book in 1992 and soon began illustrating full time. I began completing manuscripts and mailing them out to publishers in the early 1990s. In 1996, I sold my first two manuscripts — Boo Who? A Spooky Lift-the-Flap Book (Scholastic) and Pen Pals (Grosset & Dunlap). Yippee!

Now I write full time and have written and/or illustrated over 130 children’s books. Creating books that entertain, inform, and interest children (and me) is a fabulous job that I truly love.

These are from the same authors who wrote The Goddess Girls series.  This time around its books for boys!  Let me be the first to tell you that even my 9 year little girl loved these!  I love Greek and Roman myths so this one was right up our alley!  This series is filled with books that are small for kids to read and they are all fast paced with a really good adventure!  And it even is a great book to introduce your child to mythology in general.  We thank the authors for sending these our way!

This was a great ending to this series.  I think that if Maberry wanted to come back and make a spin off or to just continue the story he could with no issues.  This one ends kind of like The Hunger Games.  Where its an end but also a beginning.  It was a wonderful book and a great series and I cant wait to find out what else Maberry has planned!

I would not want to be this kid and I dont understand why people name their kids the way they do.  We have Apple and 4-Real I mean what is up with that?  Poor Howard Boward is called How-lame and How-weird its just not right!  So when his mom gives him a book on how to make a friend, Howard decides to take it to the next level and creates one!  This was a wonderful book for kids of all ages.  And although Howard is in 7th grade I would recommend this one to grades 5 and up.  (However my daughter will be going into 4th and loved it)

This one is a solid 4 stars for me for the fact that it was a lot slower than the others.  I had heard people say that this killed the series for them.  But I think it did a very good job dealing with the issues of the group loosing a loved character in book two.  I love the way that Maberry changes POV's he does it in such a way that you never have to wonder, you are never lost, and it just flows so well!  Bravo! It is also night that the main characters are not safe from death and destruction they can be hurt and they can die.  So many books make the main characters invincible and it tends to bog down the book.  So its nice to have a series that doesnt do that.

I was so happy to see the 5th book from the Lost Lord series posted to netgalley.com!  I snagged that little book so fast Im sure they were wondering what I was using!  Well I spend through the first four books that had been laying around for a while now!  And I must say that most of them were pretty good.  I only had an issue with No Longer A Gentleman as something just didnt work.  A few subplots and a visit to a dungeon that just didnt sit well with me.  But other than that all the books are great!  4 stars for each one for me!

This one looks like a remake of The Last Samurai and a little of The Matrix lol look neos back! LOL Prob wont see this one in theaters but will rent it instead!
This one looks interesting! Kinda like a part two to The Day After Tomorrow with zombies or something!

Author Suzanne Williams Suzanne Williams is the award-winning author of nearly 40 books for children, from picture books and easy readers to chapter books and middle grade fiction series. A former elementary school librarian, she lives near Seattle. Her picture book Library Lil (illustrated by Steven Kellogg) won the New Mexico children's choice award in 2000 and was on several other state award lists. She is co-author (with Joan Holub) of the popular Goddess Girls series(for ages 8 - 12) and Heroes in Training (ages 6 - 11). Other series include Fairy Blossoms and Princess Power.

Author Joan Holub I graduated from college in Texas with a fine arts degree, and then freelanced as an art director at a graphic design firm for eight years. I dreamed of working in children's books, so I moved to New York City and became associate art director in Scholastic trade books, where I designed books for children and worked with editors and illustrators. It was a great job. I illustrated my first published children's book in 1992 and soon began illustrating full time. I began completing manuscripts and mailing them out to publishers in the early 1990s. In 1996, I sold my first two manuscripts -- Boo Who? A Spooky Lift-the-Flap Book (Scholastic) and Pen Pals (Grosset & Dunlap). Yippee! Now I write full time and have written and/or illustrated over 130 children's books. Creating books that entertain, inform, and interest children (and me) is a fabulous job that I truly love.
