⭐⭐⭐The Luminaries is an intriguing start to a new series with a unique magic system and an atmospheric world. The pacing is steady, and the characters have depth, particularly the protagonist’s internal struggles. While the plot took some time to fully pick up, it was an enjoyable journey, and I’m curious to see where the story goes next. It’s a solid read, though it didn’t completely blow me away.
