The first three books in The Kings of Avalier series were absolutely amazing, filled with action, intrigue, and captivating characters. Unfortunately, The Forbidden Wolf King falls flat. While the world-building and character dynamics remain strong, the storytelling feels repetitive. The plot structure and pacing seem to mirror earlier books too closely, which made it harder to stay engaged. I still love this series and the characters, but book 4 just didn't capture the same magic as the first three. At this point, I’m not sure I’ll be checking out the next title—I'm just not sure it’s worth it.
