While The Drowned Woods doesn’t quite capture the magic of The Bones Houses, it stands strong on its own with immersive worldbuilding and a heist-like plot infused with Welsh mythology. It was worth the read, but not something to truly rave about. Fans of atmospheric fantasy will still find plenty to enjoy in this tale of magic, betrayal, and destiny!
