Life Update: One Day at a Time & A Call for Help
This past week has been a whirlwind of illness—everyone has been battling something, and even the dog decided to join in with tummy troubles. Fun, right? (Spoiler: Definitely not fun!) But we’re taking it one day at a time, trying to keep our sanity intact while pushing forward.
On the housing front, we’re still at the hotel until the 26th, hanging on and hoping for clarity once my mom’s physical therapy is finished. Her settlement from the car accident will be a crucial turning point—one that will (hopefully) allow us to get out of debt, out of the car, and finally back on stable ground. Fingers crossed that it’s enough to make the move back to Ohio, where I miss the changing seasons and cooler weather more than ever.

Screen Time & Nostalgia: What I’ve Been Watching 🎬📺
This past week has been a mix of comfort watches and emotional devastation. We watched both The Amazing Spider-Manmovies, and yes—I absolutely bawled when Gwen died. No shame. 😭💔 Right now, I’m rewatching Charmed (the OG, of course), and with hotel cable, we’ve become totally addicted to Jeopardy! (I forgot how much I missed that show!). Most of the time, the TV is just background noise while we clean or nap, and honestly, I’ve realized I don’t care about movies and shows as much as I used to.
That being said… when the new Jurassic World movie drops this year, I need to be in a better situation because I have seen every single one in theaters, and I will legit lose my mind if I miss it. Fingers crossed! 🤞🦖🍿
Social Media Updates: New Pinned Posts & Improving Engagement
I’ve been putting a lot of work into my social media lately, and I’m excited to share that I’ve created pinned posts across all platforms! These posts feature a warm welcome message, as well as details about my site’s current promotions and the books I have for sale. I’m hoping this will give new followers a solid introduction to the accounts and help them navigate what I have to offer.
Right now, I’ve got a lot of posts ready to go, but as always, it’s a balancing act. It feels like there’s either time to post your own content or engage with others—but not both! Hopefully, these updates will help things flow more smoothly. I just need to carve out a bit more time to interact with everyone, but I’m excited to see where these changes take my social media game!
