✨ Welcome to This Week’s RoundUp! ✨
Get ready for Books, Life, and a Little Bit of Chaos with @ReaderLatte—your double dose of bookish chatter, life updates, and everything in between!
📅 Saturdays are all about reflection—I’ll be rounding up the week’s highlights, from the books I’ve devoured to the little moments that made life interesting. Then, on Sundays, I’ll give you a peek at what’s coming next—upcoming reads, site updates, and whatever chaos the new week has in store.
With daily posts back in full swing, I’m just filling up the calendar and embracing the whirlwind! So grab a coffee, settle in, and enjoy my rambling bits of bookish and life musings. Let’s chat, share, and make this space as lively as our TBR piles! 📚☕✨
This past week has been a whirlwind, filled with ups and downs. We’re soaking up our last four days at the hotel before heading back to the car for the foreseeable future. It’s not the easiest road, but we’re pushing forward, one day at a time.
If you’d like to help us afford food, another hotel stay, or just ease the journey a little, any support would mean the world. You can donate here: https://linktr.ee/readerlatte.
Thank you to everyone who has been there for us—your kindness keeps us going. 💙
This week, I’ve made it to Season 4 of my Charmed rewatch—nothing beats the original show! The reboot? Not even close to the magic of the original. On the movie front, we had the chance to see Moana 2 in theaters, and it was such a treat! We haven’t had a movie outing in ages, and even Lark decided to settle in and watch along without a fuss.
We also checked out Smile and part of Smile 2—but wow, those films are intense! A little too gory for our tastes, especially late at night. Anarece ended up staying up the entire night on her phone after the unsettling vibes from the movies kept her awake. Lesson learned: maybe save the super creepy films for daytime!
It’s been a week of cleaning and reorganizing on the site—went through all my Google and Blogger photos, got rid of duplicates, and cleared out stuff I no longer use. Fun times (not!). I also decided to start fresh with my review calendar, deleting everything and rebuilding it from scratch. Not the most exciting task, but it’s done!
Currently wrapping up Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros, and starting The Darkening by Sunya Mara. Today’s to-do list includes reviewing books from Edelweiss and NetGalley, plus tackling seven print books that are waiting for my thoughts. Wish me luck, I’ve got a lot of reading and reviewing ahead! 📚✨
