REVIEW
This one had beautiful prose and imaginative world-building, but the story struggled with pacing and clarity. The blend of political intrigue and magic was interesting, though often overshadowed by convoluted plot twists. While I enjoyed some character dynamics, others felt underdeveloped. It was a decent continuation of the series but didn’t fully captivate me. Not a must-read, but fans of the first book might appreciate it more.
