REVIEW

My second DNF of 2025, and I’m so disappointed because The Dream Runners had such a promising premise. A girl stealing dreams and fixating on a bracelet sounded intriguing, but the execution fell flat. The pacing was painfully slow, the plot felt repetitive, and the writing leaned more toward upper middle grade rather than the mature YA I was expecting. I pushed forward, hoping it would improve, but ultimately, it just wasn’t for me.
