RAITING: ⭐⭐⭐
However, with "The Devil Wears Prada," I didn’t love the book more than the movie. The movie is so popular with such memorable scenes that, for once, the book felt heavier in comparison. Andy’s year with Miranda is filled with growth and accomplishment, but the book lacked some of the lighter moments and favorite scenes that the movie had, like how she parts ways with Miranda in Paris. Movies often have to be more dramatic to captivate audiences, which made the book feel almost lackluster.
Even so, I will definitely read the next two books before the second movie comes out. Since the second book was written after the first movie, I hope it captures some of that same spunk.
