RAITING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

REVIEW: My biggest pet peeve with this one was that it felt a tad too long.  I think that the author could have cut anywhere from 50-100 pages out and it would have been faster paced and more engaging to read.   That being said I still enjoyed it.  The magical system and setting worked well for the story and I think that how the characters started works well so they can grow over the course of the series.
