My Review: This sequel to "Havenfall," continues the story of Maddie Morrow as she navigates the complexities of the magical inn at the crossroads of various worlds. While the novel offers an engaging continuation with high stakes and emotional depth, it sometimes falls short in maintaining a consistent momentum. Although this book did a great job with the expansion of the world-building introduced in the first book it lagged with slower plot development and repetitive elements. This inconsistency really disrupted the reading experience, making it harder to stay fully engaged throughout the novel. 

Additionally, some plot points and character arcs felt underdeveloped. Secondary characters, though interesting, often lacked the depth needed to make their stories fully impactful. Certain twists and turns in the plot were predictable, which really diminished the overall excitement and suspense. 

Although I would love to say that this one was worth the read it just wasn't.  The ending was lack luster and just didn't further or end the story as I was hoping.
