My Review: Grief is a complex emotion, manifesting uniquely in each individual and evolving over time. "The Seven Year Slip" delves into the multifaceted nature of grief with a raw vulnerability that resonates deeply. Following the loss of a cherished loved one, the protagonist navigates the tumultuous journey of moving forward, whether reluctantly or with newfound resolve.

Some days, she feels a semblance of control, capable of confronting any challenge, even unexpected encounters in her new apartment. Other days, however, she grapples with a sense of disintegration, like when an unforeseen package disrupts her fragile equilibrium. Most often, it's a delicate balance between merely surviving each day and yearning for the light someone else could provide—perhaps someone whose eyes she dreams of immortalizing on canvas.

Through the lens of love, magic, loss, hope, and growth, this narrative explores the intricate interplay of emotions and experiences inherent in the human condition.
