My Review: Ben and Gillian, once high school sweethearts, find themselves face to face again when Ben returns to town following his retirement from a successful football career. Fourteen years have elapsed since their last encounter, yet the lingering emotions between them are palpable. Despite the chilly reception of their reunion, their connection brims with unspoken passion—especially on Gillian's part. Adding a layer of complexity is her fourteen-year-old son, long assumed to be Ben's.

Their story unfolds in a tapestry of steamy encounters, heart-wrenching moments, and heartwarming gestures. The characters exude warmth and charm, and the small town setting envelops everyone in a sense of familial belonging.

The audiobook's dual POV narration introduces a unique twist: while each chapter is from a different character's perspective, the male and female narrators voice their own parts. This innovative approach, a hallmark of P. Rayne & Piper Rayne books, adds depth and immersion to the listening experience, distinguishing it from conventional audiobooks.

Eagerly anticipating the forthcoming installments in the series, I'm excited to continue delving into the lives of these captivating characters.
