My Review: The deer and the dragon is a fantasy story about all of the world’s pantheons. It follows an author who finds herself in the middle of a shadow war between angels and demons. This book is not for everyone. The beginning was hard for me to read as I generally do not handle scary things well. The character also has a lot of religious trauma and that is a recurring theme throughout the book as well.
