I was sure everything would be okay if I had them.
It wasn’t.
The fate of our people is in my hands and I know we’re better off if I’m alone.
After five years on the run, I’m caught and dragged back to face the men I ran away from.
I thought I was doing the right thing.
Now, I’m not so sure.
North, Nox, Gryphon, Atlas, and Gabe may never forgive me but one thing is for sure.
I won’t ever forgive myself.

My Review: In fantasy writing, having mates who are destined for each other is a familiar theme, but it's less common to see multiple partners who are fated. Now, imagine a modern twist where technology can determine these matches through a simple blood test. This adds a fresh spin to the classic trope of 'fated mates.' Moreover, imagine a world where 'bonded pairs' as they are called, are commonplace, forming dynamic parental groups where magical children can have more than two parents at once, often three or more.
In "Broken Bonds," we meet a young individual with magical abilities who has been captured while fleeing. Although it's clear she possesses powers, the nature of these abilities and why they're concealed remains a mystery. Throughout the story, we delve into her relationships, the struggles she faces, and the wider conflicts within her community.
Fans of the series "Motherland: Fort Salem" may find intriguing connections within this series.
