My Review: I was so excited to get a print ARC of this one on top of getting it an eARC.  But once I started reading I have to say this was a let down.  I was so intrigued by the story it was such a disappointment.  The story dragged on an on and I ended up DNFing this one a little before 50%.  I just couldn't do it anymore.  It was so boring and the world building was not enough for a 400 page story.  I understand that this is only a book one.  But it just lacked what would have made it amazing.

Review

"Callender builds a rich environment that echoes real-world injustices...political intrigue, a fascinating magic system, and heart-pounding action propel the plot and, combined with Ash’s unfurling relationships with Ramsay and the rest of the supporting cast, result in a refreshingly affirming and tender standout fantasy." ―Publishers Weekly, starred review

"
Infinity Alchemist is a spellbinding, fast-paced and deeply romantic fantasy that thoughtfully explores the meaning of power, who is worthy of it, and what people are willing to do in its pursuit.
