#BookReview: The Prophet's Gambit (The Prophet's Gambit #1) by Ellie Evaris

Synopsis: Seventeen-year-old Aris has always been obsessed with dreams, even if she can't remember most of them. She's spent her life waiting for something to happen, chasing a memory always just eluding her grasp. That is, until she meets Alek—a boy with golden eyes and a knack for avoiding injury.

My Review: Unfortunately, this book needed some more work.  I felt horribly lost through most of it and finally gave up towards the 40% part and just called it quits.  This one was a mash of things that didn't matter and story lines that just didn't full fleshed out. 

Having grown up in The Middle of Nowhere, Canada, Ellie’s imagination became so uncontrollably wild, she was eventually forced to put pen to paper. Nobody’s heard from her since.
