My Review: Yes I know why try a book where you DNFed book one? Well I am a stickler for punishment and I always try to give authors another try. So this one did a little better than book one. I will say that it picked up a smidge but it still lacked that overall arc that we usually see in books. Towards the middle it kind of fizzed out and just got boring. I think that this author is working towards finding her jam since this is only her second book. So I look forward to her further stories.
