#BookReview: The Warrior King (Inferno Rising #3) by Abigail Owen

Synopsis: Meira Amon is the most reserved of the phoenixes, finding computers easier to deal with than people and their messy emotions. But she wants revenge against the Rotting King Pytheios for the murder of her parents just as much as her sisters. Offering herself as a queen for their ally, dragon shifter King Gorgon of the Black Clan, only makes sense.

My Review: This is book three in Owen's Inferno Rising series. I will say that you need to read the first two books in this series before reading this one. Because if you don't you will be totally lost.  However, there are so many references to what happened in the previous books. I enjoyed the overall story even though the interspecies mating between dragons and phoenixes kind of boggles the mind. It's a captivating fantasy romance nonetheless.  I liked how Meira and Samael overcome the odds and find their HEA. There was enough action to keep me engaged, and the sex scenes were slightly steamy, however I did not fall in love with the characters or the overall story enough to continue with the series.
