My Review: If you grew up being a fan of the book or movie The Princess Bride then this one is going to make you fall in love all over again!! With subtle things from the Princess Bride this story turns it on its head as its time for the Princess to get a sword and save those she loves. No damsel in destress this time around!! I really loved how the author started this one out with a bang! It was totally shocking every chapter and as I got towards the end I realize this wasn't a stand alone but a two book series. Talk about dying!!
The characters in this one were fabulous!! Ama was a very strong female figure and I love her so much!! She knows that she doesn't need a man to rule her kingdom and she is determined on making that come to pass. This reminded me of The Princess Diaries which just made me love her more. Her true love in this Luca was adorable!! My oldest would call him a cinnamon roll and I would totally have to agree with her. I can not wait to see him come into his own in book two!
This story was just so good!! There are so many twists and turns that happen that I can't talk about!! OMG I can't talk about them!! One part you find out about someone and its just done so subtle and it worked so well!! Ugh this book was just so good!! Don't miss it!
