A late autumn hunt brings brothers Radu and Pavel face-to-face with an ancient evil. With no one to help them, and nowhere to run, the brothers find that the prey they've been stalking is really a predator.
And they're the ones being hunted...
Fans of Bram Stoker and Anne Rice will love this terrifying novella about dark endings and terrible beginnings.

My Review: This is a story about a boy named Pavel and how he ends up turning into what he fears the most. I listened to this book as an audio book and was impressed by the narrator. He did a good job bringing this story to life and making you really feel for the main character. However this book is very short and leaves off on a cliff hanger and I would enjoy a continuation of this story however there is no second book. This book follows Pavel as he turns into a creature of the night and how he experienced those around him's perspectives change as well as dealing with his new urges and immortality. I think this story did a good job explaining what Pavel was going through, it was almost like you were there with him throughout his change. However I did not like how the story came to such an abrupt ending and really has me wanting more but the story just has an abrupt end.
