My Review: This was a story that really surprised me. It was very unique and fully about family. I could not put it down it was just so amazing. I am not sure how to really review this one. It was so real and just so deep. The story was just so entwined with the lives of those within the Holocaust and its aftermath and everything that went on. This was one story you won't soon forget!

“In The Takeaway Men, Meryl Ain tells a gripping story of lives intertwined and shaped by the horrors of the Holocaust and its aftermath. With sensitivity and compassion she makes her characters come alive and remain in our heads and our hearts long after the novel ends. A powerful read!”
