Sand Maiden Alissandra has been weaving human dreams for much of her immortal existence helping her dream charges work through what worries them as they sleep. But her idyllic life is turned upside down when she discovers her father, the god of dreams, plans to exploit humans, making them exist to do only his bidding. Forced to choose between the only life she's known or protecting her current charge, the crown prince, she sheds immortality and flees Dream realm. But the god of dreams isn’t the only danger to her and Wake realm.
Prince Kovis Altairn, the most powerful sorcerer in the Altairn Empire, knows nothing about Dream realm, let alone his sand maiden. So when Ali is discovered naked in his bedroom, she’s accused of being a spy. Now she must convince him of her intentions…as well as the danger they’re all in…before it’s too late.
The Sand Maiden is a four-book gods-vs-mortals fantasy retelling that's a unique and original fusion of Greek and English myths. If you loved the sizzle of Sarah J. Maas' A Court of Thorns and Roses, the feels and intrigue of Elise Kova's Air Awakens, and/or the Greek mythology of Amanda Bouchet's Kingmaker Chronicles you'll definitely love this.

My Review: Another title I grabbed because of the cover. I thought this one was YA but it so isn't. It's more New Adult (age of the characters). And there is a lot of sexy stuff in there. So this one is slated for those 18+ if you ask me. So I didn't really care for the characters or the story unfortunately and I just ended up putting it down around 30 pages or so. I was also very confused on the fact that this cover says its book two. My book says its book one. But when you look it up it also says book two. But the listing on Goodreads says both.
