#BookReview: Stealing Kisses in the Snow (Rendezvous Falls #2) by @jomcnallyauthor @HQNBooks

Synopsis: It’s Christmas in Rendezvous Falls and love’s waiting to be unwrapped…

Single mom Piper Montgomery’s plate is full. Between her two adorable kids, two jobs and a fixer-upper house, she’s so busy she can hardly see straight. But when rugged biker Logan Taggart strolls into the inn where she’s working, she can’t help but stare. He has bad boy written all over him. And with two kids relying on her, that’s the last thing she needs this Christmas.

Rendezvous Falls is nothing but a pit stop for Logan. Once his grandmother is back on her feet and ready to reclaim the inn, Logan can get back on the road. It’s where he belongs, even if his grandmother’s matchmaking book club try to convince him otherwise. Still, there’s something about beautiful spitfire Piper that makes him wonder if family and forever might just be what he needs after all.

But as the holidays draw ever closer, so do Piper and Logan. Could these polar opposites find that all they want this Christmas is each other?

About the Author: Jo McNally is the author of the Lowery Women series and the Rendezvous Falls series of romance novels. She lives in coastal North Carolina with 100 pounds of dog and 200 pounds of husband--her slice of the bed is very small. When she's not writing or reading romance novels (or clinging to the edge of the bed ...), she can often be found on the back porch sipping wine with friends, listening to great music. If the weather is absolutely perfect, she'll occasionally join her husband on the golf course, where she always feels far more competitive than her actual skill level would suggest.

Piper Goodeve began narrating in 2011 and has since given voice to over a hundred titles. As a stage actress, Piper has appeared off Broadway as well as at theaters across the country, such as the McCarter, the Weston Playhouse, and Syracuse Stage. Happily splitting her time between Brooklyn and Vermont, Piper holds a BA from New York University and received her MFA in acting from Brown University/Trinity Rep.

Rating: ★★★★
My Review: This title was full of heart breaking moments of people dealing with the grief of losing a family member, which really spoke to me and my life.  To over coming and moving on and learning to open your heart to love again.  I loved how the author blended all these aspects together in one spectacular title that I would love to see on the big screen.  It's a tale for the holidays and one I will read again.  The characters were spot on for this story the kind that you just can't help but fall in love with.

"Readers will be charmed by this sweet, no-nonsense Christmas romance full of genuine emotion."-Publishers Weekly

Stayed up almost all night,
But I️ just had to finish this book! The characters grabbed me and sucked me in. It was so well written,And the author was able to make me feel like I was part of it all. Stealing Kisses in the Snow is a heart warming story about Second Chances, Romance, Letting go and Moving On. The characters were well developed and it had humor, sadness, loss, as well as romance . I found myself laughing and crying throughout the book. Jo McNally writes about a very tough subject, the loss of a husband and having to move on and raise 2 kids alone. She does it in a way that is real and raw. I wanted to jump into the book and give Piper a hug and hold both the kids Lily and Ethan. Poor Ethan broke my heart over his struggle over the loss if his dad. At times it is a very emotional book, but I loved every word of it. Piper's two kids are the same age as mine 4 and 13 so I was able to connect with her whole family. Lily's nickname for Logan ( Logan the Giant ) had me laughing so hard. Iris Logan's 80 year old matchmaking grandma who owned the Inn was also an amazing character that I loved in this book. She was quite the character. This is the second book in the Rendezvous Falls series and can be read as a stand alone. Thank you netgalley , Jo McNally , and Harlequin for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
