Synopsis: Fireheart could hear a roaring around him, like wind in tall trees. The acrid stench of the Thunderpath stung his nostrils, together with a new smell, sharper and more terrifying. Fire!
Book Two of WARRIORS continues Fireheart's quest to be a true warrior, when he finds new danger lurking in the woods as the chill of winter sets in.
WindClan is missing, and hostilities between the remaining three clans place all the cats in peril.
Illness and tragic accidents weaken the camp, and ThunderClan needs all its warriors to defend itself - but Fireheart suspects that certain cats may not be as loyal as they appear.
About the Author: Erin Hunter is inspired by a love of cats and a fascination with the ferocity of the natural world. In addition to having great respect for nature in all its forms, Erin enjoys creating rich mythical explanations for animal behavior. She is also the author of the Seekers, Survivors, and Bravelands series. Rating: 🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱 My Review: Just like book one this was a great story. It followed the same characters as book one but with another name since he is a warrior now. This one had a lot of mystery and attempted murder and I loved it. Its a great story of any reluctant reader both boys and girls!
Go Into This One Knowing: warrior cats set in our world!
“Hunter’s world keeps getting more finely drawn, and her characters more complex. With enough backstory for newcomers to find their way, established fans will be on edge for the next title.” (Kirkus Reviews)
“A fast-paced animal adventure. Recommend this series to fans of animal fantasies such as Redwall and Dark Portal.” (Voice of Youth Advocates (VOYA))
