Ty Everett ran off to the rodeo when he turned eighteen and has been riding bulls ever since…until his last fall causes partial amnesia and he must return to Cold River Ranch to figure out what comes next. But how can he pick his next move when he can’t remember how he got here in the first place—much less the beautiful woman who appears at the ranch, claims she knows him, and warms his cold heart for the first time since he woke up in the hospital?
Rodeo Queen Hannah Monroe gave up her crown for Ty Everett, and her innocence. What she wants from Ty now is a divorce. But Ty can’t remember her—or their secret wedding, or even the son she never meant to hide from him—and Hannah is torn.
How can she leave the man she can’t forget and still loves despite herself? And even if she’s willing to start over, what will happen when the truth comes out?

My Review: This one started out with this cover with this very cute cowboy in a very nice setting. For a romance title I think this cover worked out well for the story. I think a change for the cover could have been the addition of Hannah on it as well since this is their story together.
Unfortunately, the cover is the only thing this book has going for itself. The story opened very well. I was very excited to read this one, I was jamming along reading the story for the first chapter, then once we got into chapter two it all started falling apart. The story changes to a lot of inner dialogue and the main character feeling sorry for himself. I felt like the story after that started jumping around a lot. From his POV to a shared POV to inner dialogue that was not done well. It just started feeling like a mess. The writing style needed to be cleaned up a bit in terms of the POVs and all the hoard of inner dialogue that we got. The pacing of this one was also all over the place. Someone would ask a question then we would get all this inner dialogue then pages after that we would get an answer which by that time I had forgotten the question that was asked. For a book that is a mass market paperback and is just over 350 pages it was just too much.
The characters were pretty interesting. If it wasn't for all that woe is me and all that inner dialogue they would have been better. I really didn't connect with them at all but I wished that I could have.
"A fascinating read … If you love rodeo riding stubborn cowboys, heroines who don't give up even when the odds are against her, an adorable little boy and a love that won't die then you have to read COLD HEART, WARM COWBOY!" - - Fresh Fiction
