Synopsis: What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister? With Brightburn, the visionary filmmaker of Guardians of the Galaxy and Slither presents a startling, subversive take on a radical new genre: superhero horror.

I wasn't too sure about this movie when my 14 year old wanted to go watch it. I had heard that it was VERY gory and just very graphic. But we went and decided to try it. We love horror movies so this was right up our alley.
Well what we found was that people don't know gore like we do. This was one major creative movie. The graphics were spot on and I really hope we get a part two.
The gore wasn't nearly as bad as I was thinking it was going to be for a movie that was rated R. There were some F bombs but for the most part Supernatural gives you more gore than this one did.
There was one part where a guy sees the kid flying and he is like nope nope nope. I am SO beyond happy that they added a character in this one that you could tell he had actually watched a horror movie or tv show. He knew he needed to get the crap out of there because this was NOT GOOD. That was a nice change of the norm.
My 8 year old and 14 year old loved it.
