#BookDiscussion: Beastiality in Young Adult Titles a discussion

This weeks post for Thursday is about a topic that I think needs to be talked about.  So over the past two weeks I posted a few things about a book called Damsel.  You can check out my review here

Please note that below will be spoilers for this title.  

In this book there is a lot of violence which is nothing new in young adult titles.  But, in this during the last parts of the story the main man in the title states that he stabbed a dragon and then had sex with the hole his sword made.  Now in this book it seems that the dragon was actually the Damsel in a dragon form and the only way to change her into a Damsel was to do this act.  He had to take out the dragon and then have sex with it's dead coupse.  

Now for me I was so excited to read this book before I found out that this was in it.  

So the day that I found out what was in the end of this book I was shocked to say the least.  But what shocked me even more was that I posted a poll about beastiality in young adult and should it be in there and a ton of people voted YES!  To say I was speechless was an understatement.  

So I put this one to you.  How far do you think young adult titles should go?  And what do you think have no place in the ya section?
