#JoinTheShadowhunters Episode 1: On Infernal Ground & Episode 2: The Powers That Be #Shadowhunters

Well to start off. Hey did you know that Shadowhunters is back?  Well, I didn't even though I even had a banner up stating it was back March 20. Yes, March has been an epic fail of the largest proportions.  But I am hoping to get my act together with April coming around and my last 2 weeks of my first math class. Of course I have another 5 weeks for the other math class to go but well deal with that once it shows up.

Well now that we have that issue dealt with (yes I missed 2 episodes). Lets get on with my review. I will be talking about both episodes as one with spoilers. So fair warning!!

Season 3 started with a bang! I have to say that this season so far looks by far the best that I have seen from this series. Shadowhunters Season 3, Episode 1: On Infernal Ground and Episode 2: The Powers That Be tosses us back into the show with Clary becoming a fully fledged Shadowhunter instead of one just in training.

She got her Angelic rune, picked out her weapons (her mother and father's blades), and went on with the show holding onto a very large secret! ie. making the wish that brought Jace back to life in last season's cliffhanger.

Jace, on the other hand, is dealing with some very disturbing dreams about killing nonother than Clary herself. Being haunted by Sabastion and not knowing if something is truth or dream.

We're also dealing with Magnus not being the Warlock of Brooklyn for the first time in the show. He is dealing with this as well as dealing with some new powers that are this season's baddie. Of course, we know who that is. With Lilith possessing people to power, some altar it's sure going to be an interesting season.

And last but not least we have one issue that I was kind of pissed off about. If you are like me and have read the books then you know that it was Clary who put the Mark of Cain on him in the last book City of Glass. Well in this episode we find that the Queen of the Seelie court has marked Simon in some way. We are not told what she did but we do get a glimpse of its power. As when Simon is attacked later in the episode he is protected and the mark glows. So it might take a few episodes for us to be told what is going on. But if it does end up being the Mark of Cain I know I won't be the only one slightly pissed off.

All in all, I give the first two episodes a solid A. They were interesting and entertaining! And I can't wait for more! Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
