Wolf is walking home when Little Owl falls in his path. It soon becomes clear that little owl cannot fly so Wolf decides to try and help. Little Owl doesn't find it easy though and Wolf soon loses his patience. Little Owl is hurt and loses hope that she'll ever learn to fly. Wolf feels bad that he hurt his new friend. He apologizes and encourages her to try harder. Wolf's kindness and encouragement has the most magical effect on Little Owl, cementing a firm friendship and a return home for Little Owl. This book has a message of kindness and patience will resonate with both parents and children.
