Notes and Opinions: If you know me you know that I do NOT do audio books but I really wanted to give them a try again so enter Broken Beautiful Hearts!  And I have to say that I listened to this while making up posts and it was really good.  I finished it in two days and I really need to get a print copy of it now as well.  This is a heartwarming title that made me laugh a few times and I was hooked on it from the start.  The narrator (I have no idea who she is) was energetic and wonderful to listen to.  She really made the book come to life and I found myself wanting to find more books that she narrated.  

The story in this one was well paced. The characters were all well formed with much depth and the story was really good overall.  I did have the issue of not connecting with Peyton right off the bat. But by the end of the book, I was rooting for her so that may have been the point. 

The situations in this book felt true to the story and the narrator brought those out very well.  It was almost like listening to a movie. This was a wonderful story about healing, standing your ground, learning to let go of the past, and new beginnings and it is one that I will hold dear for some time.
