Notes and Opinions:  This book reminded me of a young adult book about reincarnation which was wonderful. (I forget the title). This one for adults was beautifully written.  I love Hauf's writing and storytelling and this one hit the mark! I read this one over the course of a few days sitting in the ICU with my oldest who was dignosed with T1D.  This book as well as book two (reviewing tomororw) were a blend of wonderful chracters and some great creatures. I really loved the introduction of an agency that debunks the paranormal and how that played into the story.  This is one book that you wont be able to put down and you won't want it to end!!
