For this one, I had to read book one first.  And well although I enjoyed book one I didn't love it.  This one, however, has redeemed itself!! This was a great solid 4 stars from me! I really loved the characters and the pacing and the snips we get from the Thunderhead instead of the gleaming journals.  That was a very nice twist.  This has it all for the reader and lover of book one.  I know that I for one really enjoyed it.  Everything came together so well for a kick butt book!
