Join the Winter Haven Library Teen Bookclub today at 4-5pm EST here in Winter Haven, Florida! We will be discussing All Fall Down by Ally Carter!
A new series of global proportions -- from master of intrigue, NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author Ally Carter.
Grace Blakely is absolutely certain of three things:
1. She is not crazy. 2. Her mother was murdered. 3. Someday she is going to find the killer and make him pay.
As certain as Grace is about these facts, nobody else believes her -- so there's no one she can completely trust. Not her grandfather, a powerful ambassador. Not her new friends, who all live on Embassy Row. Not Alexei, the Russian boy next door, who is keeping his eye on Grace for reasons she neither likes nor understands.
Everybody wants Grace to put on a pretty dress and a pretty smile, blocking out all her unpretty thoughts. But they can't control Grace -- no more than Grace can control what she knows or what she needs to do. Her past has come back to hunt her . . . and if she doesn't stop it, Grace isn't the only one who will get hurt. Because on Embassy Row, the countries of the world stand like dominoes, and one wrong move can make them all fall down.
Ally Carter writes books about teen spies, thieves, and diplomats.
She is the New York Times bestselling author of three YA series about the world's best teenage art thieves (HEIST SOCIETY), the world's coolest spy school (GALLAGHER GIRLS, including I'D TELL YOU I LOVE YOU BUT THEN I'D HAVE TO KILL YOU), and the granddaughter of a diplomat who has to find her mother's killer on EMBASSY ROW.
Her novels have sold well over two-million copies and have been published in more than twenty countries. She lives in Oklahoma, where her life is either very ordinary or the best deep-cover legend ever. She’d tell you more, but…well…you know…

Check out the online book club via facebook. Please note that this group is not in connection with the library in ANY WAY! I was asked to create this from a few friends who do not live in the area but wanted to read the book as a group. So if you are or are not near us you can read along and discuss the book as well.
This book was very good it pulled me from the first pages and I didn't put it down. This one is one that has an unreliable narrator as well as a slight cliffhanger. It was a very well paced story about Grace who has PTSD after seeing her mother murdered. You never really know what is really going on and who you can really trust until the last few chapters when everything is revealed. This one has no real romance to speak of which was kind of nice not to have. So many young adult books lie heavy on romance to get things done and this one didn't do that. I loved all the characters especially Rosie she was awesome and I could see her turn into a secret assassin in the coming books. I could also see her getting her own series which would be great!
I also liked that even though this book deals with Embassies etc you don't really get any terminology to go with it. So don't worry if you know nothing about how the government works you won't really have to deal with it in this one.
In the end, this was a great well paced read that is one great murder mystery!
