According to E! Online, two new Harry Potter books are coming this fall, but they won't exactly extend the storyline that you all love so much. I’m sorry to burst your bubble.
One of the books is a companion piece to the British Library's new exhibition, ‘A History of Magic.’ The book will be titled, Harry Potter: A History of Magic - The Book is on the Exhibition and will coincide with the 20th anniversary of the first Harry Potter book.
The book's publisher describes it as a journey through the subjects that Hogwarts students covered in their time at the wizarding school.
The British Library enlisted experts to weigh in on various topics, like nature and history, not leaving out screenwriters and authors. Each one penned a special essay for each chapter to give readers and visitors to the exhibition even more background and context.
It may not be more of Harry, Ron, and Hermione, but it will give some more context for all you die hard fans.
If you’re not fired up about that you might be more excited for the second book, titled Harry Potter: A Journey Through a History of Magic. You can think of this on as a Hogwarts textbook, covering subjects such as astronomy and herbology along with more practical subjects like defense against the dark arts. Anyone looking for Wizarding 101 this is for you.
Both books are set to be released on Oct. 20, 2017, according to BuzzFeed. The books can be pre-ordered via the British Library Shop or through Amazon UK,
I do of course want to know what you are thinking about the idea of some more Harry Potter in your life. Let’s chat in the comments below and don’t forget to subscribe to our channel. I’m Ryland Adams – see you soon!
