First off what ever you do! DONT read that chapter sample from the back of the book you will die!!! JUST DONT DO IT!! You will be much happier!  

So this story picks up one year after the last book in this amazing HoN series.  It has been one that has been with me since I started this site and it will be with me much longer after I finish.  I really love what these authors have done with this continuing story. I wasn't sure what they were going to do with it and their idea came out of left field I never saw it coming.  I can't wait for book two in this new series.  In this one, we get some new kind of vampyer that are more like well something else I won't spoil it for you.  The story kicks off and drew me in early on I was so happy to be back in this world that I really didn't care what happened lol.  For character growth, I have to say that over the course of the first series and this one of all people Aphrodite is slowly becoming my favorite character. (Ya who would have thought that one!). I really love how far she has come and what happened to her in this story!  I can't wait to see what else she does in the next book.  As for Zoey, this deals with reading that sample that I found out is about a 1/3 into the book. So DONT READ IT or you will be like me and wanting to slap Zo up side the head because it makes her look like she is making horrible stupid choices.  I found out that it's not the case though.  So YAY!! 

 This is a well-paced story about our old friends and new beginnings.  I read it in less than 24 hours and man I really need book two right now!  If you are a fan of this world then this one will knock your socks off.  I do think that it was very speedy and I wish that it would have slowed down just a bit. But all in all, it was very good and I want even more.  

Everyone in this book was amazing from the main characters to the side ones.  It was interesting to see that Zoey had sent all her friends away though. I would have thought that with them being her circle that they would have stayed together where they were strongest.  But, that just wasn't the case. I am sure that Zoey figures this out in this story and that when book two comes out that everyone hopefully is together.  

This one is for the fan of the first series and well if you havent read those get on it. Becuase this book was so worth the wait.
