The Vampire Diaries: Goodbye my love!

  I have been a fan of this show for longer than I can pretty much remember.  I've watched as characters both lived and died. At the time that I'm typing this up the show just ended this past week. And even though this is posting two weeks after that it still pains me to think about it. I know that the show was just a show and that it couldn't go on forever. No matter how much we would like it to do so.  We already lost one major character Elena from the show.  People want to do different things and move on to new roles. And that's ok. But it's still a big chunk of my life that was spent watching this show that I now have to say goodbye to.  So what did I think of the ending?  

For the most part I really liked it. I do think that they could have done their work and given us more though. Here is the list of things I would have liked to see. 

1. Elena and Deamon aging with getting married, having kids, and growing old together.  Also when they died and they each went in lack of a better term home. Did they never see each other again in the after life?  Is it like each person had their own slice of heaven or something?  For me that would be a raw deal man!  The way the show ended it looked like they had a few years together then died young. Which would have really sucked ASS after everything they had been through. 

2. Bonnie Ok so I get that she decided to travel the world. But again what of it?  Did she ever marry and have kids? 

3. Caroline, Alaric, and the kids did they ever get married and have kids of their own?  We don't get much of this new school that is going on other than Caroline getting that donation from Klaus. (sorry for the bad spelling). Does this mean we'll get to see more of them in The Originals?  

Which brings me to the last thing. Since the spin-off The Originals is still going on with its newest season. Will we still see some of these beloved characters? I guess time will tell.  I haven't really been a fan of the spin-off for the most part.  It's way with the back stabbing and family drama. I don't know what it is about that show that just doesn't click for me like TVD did.  I wasn't even going to continue watching it once TVD ended. But I guess if I want to see if anyone else pops up I will have to...........Sorry had to go tape the show on my DVR. And it seems that it's already one there so go me.  

So the ending for this show in my mind was about a B+. they did good but it could have been much better.
