I was really scared when I read the first 50 pages of this one and well it just wasn't working out. The story was going no where and the mystery surrounding the entire thing was just boring me.  For me this was just a very confusing, boring, and meh story.   I just couldn't connect with anyone and the story just lost me completely. I loved the Splinterd series and I can't wait to dive into the my print copy of The Architect of Song. But for me this book just didn't work out.
