Starry Night: A Novel by Isabel Gillies #BookReview

  Sometimes one night can change everything. Isabel Gillies, known for her television role as Detective Stabler's wife on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, has published two memoirs, Happens Every Day (a New York Times bestseller) and A Year and Six Seconds (both Scribner). She graduated from New York University with a BFA in film. Isabel lives in Manhattan with her family.

The writing in this novel was okay and the romance was kind of unbelievable. I think that overall this book lacked emotional connection with the characters, which meant that I was not invested in them. For this it made the story hard to read, there for I had to give it a 3 star rating. I think the idea was nice, just not executed the way it should have been.
