Audrey Grey lives in the charming state of Oklahoma, with her husband, two little people, and four mischievous dogs. You can usually find her hiding out in her office from said little people and dogs, surrounded by books and sipping kombucha while dreaming up wondrous worlds for her characters to live in.
I think that this book was slow in the beginning because there was a lot of "telling" rather than "showing". And the world building wasn't descriptive enough for me. But I think that this book was very well paced for a first book. It had some cliffhangers but to the point where it kept you wanting to come back for more. I also think that the romance fit the story very well and was not too mushy or to insta-lovey.
