The Swap by @meganshull #BookReview @KTegenBooks
ELLIE spent the summer before seventh grade getting dropped by her best friend since forever. JACK spent it training in "The Cage" with his tough-as-nails brothers and hard-to-please dad. By the time middle school starts, they're both ready for a change. And just as Jack's thinking girls have it so easy, Ellie's wishing she could be anyone but herself.
Then, BAM! They swap lives - and bodies!
Now Jack's fending off mean girls at sleepover parties, while Ellie's reigning as The Prince of Thatcher Middle School.
As their crazy weekend races on - and their feeling for each other grow - Elli and Jack begin to wonder if maybe the best way to learn how to be yourself is to spend a little time being somebody else.

Endy Here!!
I haven't been reading many middle grade books this year. I just feel like I am outgrowing them. But this one worked out really well for me. My mom told me about some older movies called Freaky Friday and well I really love the story about switching lives with someone. Kind of like walk a mile in my shoes and get to know the real me. Each character has a lot of issues to work through and this story makes laugh out loud awesome.
This was a great book about self discovery and growth and I can't wait to see what else the author writes as even if its middle grade im sure ill be picking it up.
