Sloane isn't expecting to fall in with a group of friends when she moves from New York to Florida—especially not a group of friends so intense, so in love, so all-consuming. Yet that's exactly what happens.
Sloane becomes closest to Vera, a social-media star who lights up any room, and Gabe, Vera's twin brother and the most serious person Sloane's ever met. When a beloved painting by the twins' late mother goes missing, Sloane takes on the responsibility of tracking it down, a journey that takes her across state lines—and ever deeper into the twins' lives.
Filled with intense and important friendships, a wonderful warts-and-all family, shiveringly good romantic developments, and sharp, witty dialogue, this story is about finding the people you never knew you needed.
This title will be released on October 4, 2016.

I was so excited to get a copy of this (either from BEA/BookCon or ALAAC) Not really sure which event it came from. Anyway! This one was so very awesome! I had the fortune of meeting her last year in Miami along with a few other authors and I really hope to meet her again to get a copy of this signed.
I wasnt sure what to expect when I started this book. I really enjoyed her debut though. But this was a hit! I loved the sarcasm/snark in this one! Friends, a writer dad, social media, a painting that goes missing, and ad adventure! This one has all of the points for a down to earth adventure for high middle grade to teen.
It was great to follow along with the friendships that get created in this story. I really loved hearing about Sloane's family. It was a laugh out loud story that Im sure you will visit again!
If you liked or loved her debut then don't let this one pass you by!
