Welcome to our second post of Top 10 Tuesdays! This week we have some great authors that we havent read before now! I know for me (Jessica) I had one major author that I hadn't read before this year and now I'm so ADDICTED! So here we go!
Colleen Hoover
Colleen Hoover is the author of ten New York Times bestselling novels. She self-published her first novel, SLAMMED, in 2012. Five months later it debuted on The New York Times.
Diana Gabaldon
Diana Gabaldon is the New York Times bestselling author of the wildly popular Outlander novels.
Marissa Meyer
Marissa Meyer is a fangirl at heart, with a closet full of costumes, a Harry Potter wand on her desk, and a Tuxedo Mask doll hanging from her rear view mirror. Han and Leia are still her OTP. She may or may not be a cyborg.
Amy Alward
Amy Alward (nee McCulloch) was born in Kingston-upon-Thames, UK, and moved to Ottawa, Canada, when she was 11. She attended Immaculata High School, where she developed a love of geeky things like science fairs, yearbook, RPGs and The Lord of the Rings. After high school she started studying at the University of Toronto, where she graduated with a B.A. (Hons) in English, specializing in Old English and Medieval literature (her love for Geoffrey Chaucer will never die).
Sara Schoen
Sara Schoen is 20 years old college student studying biology and environmental science. She started writing in middle school, but didn't dedicate to it until high school. She published her wattpad book, Amber Alert, at 19 in November of 2014. She's spent years prior writing a spy series which released the first book in July, and became a best seller for both the first book and the attest release of book two in November. She has many standalone books, but for now school is a main priority. You can still find her on wattpad account under xxnightstripexx communicating with fans and other young authors on the site. She hopes to inspire others that dreams can come true at any age, you just have to chase after what you want
Taylor Henderson
My name is Taylor, and I was born and raised in Northern Virginia. I have been an adamant reader and writer for as long as I can remember. Writing has always been a huge part of my life. Now I am nineteen years old, and nothing has really changed. I am still a resident of the state for lovers, and I still use writing as my main form of expression. I love the idea that with a few words, all put together in perfect order; I can create a world of my own. I have the ability to create characters who have special talents that I've always wanted, or even situations that I've never experienced in real life. Writing is the only activity that I seem to excel at. It's my escape from my average life. A place where I can be who I want to be, go places that I've never been, and meet people whom I've only met in my dreams. Isn't that what writing is all about? Finding an escape into another world? Because let's face it, the world we live in today is crazy, and uncontrollable. I like being in control. I just want to write my own story.
Victoria Aveyard
Victoria Aveyard graduated from USC, where she majored in screenwriting. RED QUEEN is her first novel. She splits her time between Massachusetts and Los Angeles. You can visit her online at www.victoriaaveyard.com.
Sabah Tahir
Sabaa Tahir grew up in California's Mojave Desert at her family's eighteen-room motel. There, she spent her time devouring fantasy novels, raiding her brother's comic book stash, and playing guitar badly. She began writing An Ember in the Ashes while working nights as a newspaper editor. She likes thunderous indie rock, garish socks, and all things nerd. Sabaa currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her family.
