Biography
UK-Canadian writer Simon Nicholson worked in theatre for a while before starting to write stories, mainly for children. Since then he has written books, plays and many episodes of internationally successful children's television shows. He has been nominated for BAFTA and RTS awards. Amongst other things, his stories have featured hotels, the dogs who fought in the First World War, two murderous Russian nannies, some squirrels and, most recently, the young Harry Houdini.
Written in old english, character is kinda full of himself, written in 3rd person POV. This one sent me for a loop. Although it was pretty good it was hard to get into. This one I had to rate one star. I didnt finish it and I can't recommend it. In our day and age with shows/movies like Jack-A** etc. We have teens dying because they are stupid enough to try the stunts they see on tv. This book included a stunt where a child of 11 is trying to get out of ropes via an oncoming train. After that the book got fairly boring and I didnt finish it.
