#Giveaway @SourcebooksFire of The Dirt Diary (The Dirt Diary, #1) by Anna Staniszewski

WANTED: Maid for the most popular kids in 8th grade.

Cleaning up after the in-crowd gets Rachel all the best dirt.

Rachel can't believe she has to give up her Saturdays to scrubbing other people's toilets. So. Gross. But she kinda, sorta stole $287.22 from her college fund that she's got to pay back ASAP or her mom will ground her for life. Which is even worse than working for her mother's new cleaning business. Maybe. After all, becoming a maid is definitely not going to help her already loserish reputation.

But Rachel picks up more than smelly socks on the job. As maid to some of the most popular kids in school, Rachel suddenly has all the dirt on the 8th grade in-crowd. Her formerly boring diary is now filled with juicy secrets. And when her crush offers to pay her to spy on his girlfriend, Rachel has to decide if she's willing to get her hands dirty...

I have to say out of the 21 books I've read for this week.  This series is beyond my fav!!  I have been addicted to Anna Staniszewski since her other series about the adventurer!  Really wish there were more books in that series to!  This one is so good!  No magic in this one but there is some pretty good gossip!  This is another cute middle grade book with a killer cast. I loved that Rachel was a baker.  I would have loved to have some of her recipes in the back of the book.  That would have been FAB!!

The story was cute and fast. I really loved the flow and the writing style.

This story starts off with Rachel wanting to pay back the money she took out of her college fund. So she could visit her dad who has picked up and left herself and her mom.
Her mom to cover bills has started a cleaning service.  That she is making Rachel help out with.

I really liked all of this book except one thing.  This girl is 8 years old she isn't stupid.  The parents should have told her that they had split up when she was little.  I mean if your having problems include the kids in your talks if you can.  That why they won't blame themselves and they won't spend days upon days trying to get you back together.  I mean some families are just better apart.  It happens.  There isn't anything wrong with it.  But your better off splitting on good terms.  Because its the kids that get stuck in the middle.

Ok that being said this book was great!
