 About the Author

I grew up in the great state of Michigan before attending Stanford University and the University of Michigan Law School. Try not to hold the law school thing against me.

My hometown is the same as that of crime-fiction great Elmore Leonard, so maybe that's where I get my love of mysteries. But probably not, since I've never met him. In any case, when I'm not writing I'm also a (very) amateur photographer.

This  techno thriller is very close to the real world.  Which just made it really creepy! Robert (Smiles) was a very good and convincing character.  With a side cast of techno geeks Smiles this story will grip you until the end pages.  These characters are set for the 7th grade and again area very believable.  There is a slight romance between Smiles and Erin which was a nice addition.  I see this book for the boys in the same grades if not higher and lower.  

This book was a fast pace intense read. If you think you won't understand all the algorithms, encryptions and etc. Dont worry the author did a great job at helping the reader understand. The author gives great descriptions about the codes in detail.  The author also did a wonderful job teaching the reader about hacking and math, all the while writing an awesome story. 

Deff read this one! Twists and turns in this one.  It would make a great movie. And kinda makes you think about what you should do on line.    It was a great stand alone!
