This will be another book that I will deff. be rereading in the years to come. It picks up only months after Emrys gave up her magick to be with Richard. And well she is finding it hard to deal with. She loves Richard but will he be enough. And with the impending doom. Will she have to reclaim her magick to keep him alive? This and more is answered in the sequel to All the Glows.
This is a love story like no other I've read. It was a very fast read and will have you screaming at the pages. With gasps, oooooos, and screams, you will be reading until the very end. I know I was.
I really felt for Emerys for most of the book. Early on she and Richard not spending that much time together and she thinks it is because he is scared of her. Its so sad to watch her break apart with worry that she gave her magick up for nothing.
Emrys really comes into her own in this one. I really believe that this book covers a lot of situations. From coming of age, to dealing with what is right and what is easy, to even dealing with giving up your soul mate just to keep them alive. Emrys is torn in all directions in this story but she does it with grace.
Richard isn't in this one as much as the first book but thats ok. He is still there in spirit. His sister on the other hand is front and center. We really get to see more of her come into her own as well. And she doesn't disappoint.
This book will send you for aloop. I really love how the author has blended all of the elements into a wonderful fulfilling story.

Dont let this slip through your fingers, slight love square?, no cliffhanger
Although these are from the eARC I wanted to share some of the passages that I fell in-love with. So some of these might be different in the finished copy.
"And you're trying to seduce the press. It's important for you to get off on the right foot. You can eat them later if you want."
"It's akin to wrestling a giant squid and trying to tie its tentacles in a pretty Christmas bow. While you're covered in ink. Underwater."
"Even a little light goes a long way in the dark."
"To share your soul with someone, to become one with another takes sacrifice. But what you get in return....."
"All opinions are 100% honest and my own."
