Tessa is a Variant, able to absorb the DNA of anyone she touches and mimic their appearance. Shunned by her family, she’s spent the last two years training with the Forces with Extraordinary Abilities, a secret branch of the FBI. When a serial killer rocks a small town in Oregon, Tessa is given a mission: she must impersonate Madison, a local teen, to find the killer before he strikes again.
Tessa hates everything about being an impostor—the stress, the danger, the deceit—but loves playing the role of a normal girl. As Madison, she finds friends, romance, and the kind of loving family she’d do anything to keep. Amid action, suspense, and a ticking clock, this super-human comes to a very human conclusion: even a girl who can look like anyone struggles the most with being herself.

Biography
First off I have to say that I am wondering how I never heard of this book until now!? Because, this would have deff been up my ally! This was a wonderful story about Tessa whom has the power to look like anyone. Which well since I love me some x-men this was deff the kind of story I so wanted to read. It was fast paced, suspenseful, mysterious and just yummies with the powers! You won't really know who the killer is until the very end. And well I have to say I didnt see it coming. The characters were great, fully formed, and I really hope for a novella about the pre world of the FEA. I think it would be very interesting to learn more about where they came from and about the Major.
The story was great/plot line was wonderful. Fans of well x-men will love this one! I am keeping this one short as I am off to read book two!! Read that review tomorrow!

It sounds like a good book. I've always loved Mystique's power, so it sounds awesome.
