Get ready for "non-stop vampire action" (Darque Reviews) in the latest Morganville Vampire novel from New York Timesbestselling author Rachel Caine.
While developing a new system to maintain Morganville's defenses, student Claire Danvers discovers a way to amplify vampire mental powers. Through this, she's able to re-establish the field around this vampire-infested Texas college town that protects it from outsiders.
But the new upgrades have an unexpected consequence: people inside the town begin to slowly forget who they are-even the vampires. Soon, the town's little memory problem has turned into a full-on epidemic. Now Claire needs to figure out a way to pull the plug on her experiment- before she forgets how to save Morganville...
After discovering that vampires populate her town, college student Claire Danvers knows that the undead just want to live their lives. But someone else wants them to get ready to rumble.
There's a new extreme sport getting picked up on the Internet: bare—knuckle fights pitting captured vampires against each other—or humans. Tracking the remote signal leads Claire—accompanied by her friends and frenemies—to discover that what started as an online brawl will soon threaten everyone in Morganville..
Ghost Town
I really think that this book even with the issues has been my fav. This series really doesn't set as a series to me. But more of a lot of short stories with the same characters. I am so used to a series dealing with one central issues over a few books. All in all this one is DEFF my fav. It kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen. As we seen with past books Caine is not scared of killing of characters!!
Bite Club
Bite Club is the only book that I have in an ARC as well as a finished copy! The only reason I still have the ARC is because its signed lol. I don't think ill ever be lucky enough to get an entire set signed by Mrs. Caine. This one is Fight Club with Vamps and again was really good! We for the first time get to be in another characters POV. Which I loved!! I know it was a little hard to get used to and at first I was skipping Shane's POV but then I realized that it was part of the book so I went back and read it all. And OMG It was great! Diff. POVs give us readers the inside scoop on what other characters are thinking. Don't get me wrong I love Claire. But it was great getting out of her head for a while.
For both books! |

Book 5 was were I had left on in the series. After reading your review though I'm anxious to pick it back up. I'm curious about the alternating POV's. Sometimes I like when an author does it but others it can be annoying.
